It is an honour to be the Principal of our new school, BISS Sentrum.
We are very proud to welcome students and their families to our school. Our founding student body includes students from over 25 nationalities and we welcome new enquiries from all around the world.
Our school is founded on the tradition of excellence established by our sister-school in Gausel over the last 40 years. Our common mission statement: ‘Creating Role Models for the Future’ guides all teaching and learning, and it is our aim to develop internationally-minded students who are competent in collaborative problem solving in information rich environments - skills essential for facing the challenges of the 21st Century.
BISS Sentrum is applying to be a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme and pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy - a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.
This is the third time I am embarking on a journey towards IB Authorisation. It is a process that is exciting, challenging, and highly rewarding. Our journey is one that involves all school stakeholders, and I look forward to working together to ensure a successful future for the school.
