PYP5 Stars! #BISSGausel

During their 'How we Express Ourselves' unit, PYP5 students have been exploring how we communicate ideas and stories through performance. Their production was a vibrant blend of language and the arts, where students developed confidence in speaking clearly, acting, singing, dancing, and creatively designing props to bring their ideas to life. Beyond the final performance, this experience highlighted the learning process which involved rehearsing, memorizing lines, solving problems, and collaborating through shared roles and responsibilities.

A huge congratulations to our PYP5 students for their resilience, teamwork and outstanding performance! A very big note of appreciation to the entire year 5 team who helped to support and facilitate the performance, finding ways to gently lead while ensuring students felt a sense of ownership over the process. Thank you to Ms. Gauci, Ms. Sutton, Ms. Martin and Ms. Mathers for their dedication throughout and to Ms. Lilleby, Mr. Roy, Ms. Lin and Ms. Haavik for their support! A very big thanks as well to Ms. Ward and the MYP students for their support with backdrops and props!

The PYP5 school play truly reflects what can be achieved when a whole communit comes together!
