A little cold never stops our learning at BISS!
Our PYP5 students took their math learning outdoors today as they measured the perimeter of our upper school campus. Through hands-on investigation, they explored how mathematical understanding is strengthened when applied in authentic, real-world contexts.
Working collaboratively supports important approaches to learning, especially communication and thinking skills, this morning as students discussed strategies, compared measurements, and made decisions together. Experiences like these help learners see mathematics as purposeful, connected, and engaging.
