World Maths Day is on 8th March. We have registered the PYP Department and your children for the competition that starts on this date in many schools and international schools around the world. More information can be found here https://www.3plearning.com/world-maths-day/ . The children will be given their log-in details today. They can start practising for the competition now by going to Mathletics Sign In, and the actual competition will start on March 8th for 48 hours, when the children start to gain points for themselves or for their class/school, by answering as many questions as possible. The questions are at different levels and the recommendations for levels for year groups are below. This table also shows how many games they should play at each level for the actual event. They can practise as much as they like beforehand and try harder levels when they are practising too.

Your child will be able to bring their log-in details home and practice and take part in the actual competition at home. You can also register your children yourselves as parents, including any siblings who attend different schools.
This is a fun event, competing against children from all over the world and involves good practice and repetition of number facts.
