Lower Pre-school department follows the British Early Years curriculum called the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We integrate this with requirements of the Norwegian Framework Plan (Rammeplan) for nursery schools.

The Lower Pre-School program aim is for students to learn through playing and exploring. Supporting and encouraging children to become confident and independent at school while learning how to share and play alongside others. The children are encouraged to be active learners through play-based activities, which opens opportunities in order to cultivate creative and critical thinking in children.

Our lower preschool staff members ensure that every child matters and our top priority is the students’ education, well-being and safety. Allowing children to learn with enjoyment and achieve through contribution while building positive relationships. We work closely with parents and careers to ensure the best of care for every child. This includes regular conversations about the child and set development checks at the age of two years according to the EYFS protocol.
