SFO / After School Care

What is SFO?
SFO (Skolefritidsordning) is a before and after school, and some school holidays, programme offered to students in year groups PYP 1 – PYP 5.

Activities take place inside the SFO area of the school, outside in the school playground and excursions in the school holidays.

SFO opening hours

AM Session: from 7:30 – 8:30

PM Session: from 15:00 (14:10 on Wednesday) until before 16:30*

*Children must be collected by 16:30 and not at 16:30. If you are late there will be a charge. This is because staff will have to stay longer than their contracted hours if you are later than 16:30 to ensure your children are safe.

Autumn Holiday   11.10.2021 - 15.10.2021
Winter Holiday   28.02.2022 - 04.03.2022
Summer Holiday 20.06.2022 - 30.06.2022
* on 17th June 2022 (last day of term) SFO will begin at 12:00
 

Staff Training Days (INSET) 2021 - 2022
To enable SFO staff to undertake training with BISS Gausel, SFO will also be closed on these days -

11th - 13th August 2021
11th and 12th November 2021
3rd January 2022
27th May 2022

SFO fees -

Monthly charge for 100% places - 3188kr for academic year starting in Aug 2021.

These fees will be effective for the remainder of the Financial Year and will possibly be revised In line with Kommune fee in January 2022.

Monthly charge for 60% places (3 days a week) - 2149kr for academic year starting August 2021.

There will not be a discount for siblings. Refunds will not be made for illness or holidays

SFO Daily Activities

In the morning when the students arrive at SFO, they are offered quiet activities like reading, colouring, playing cards and board games. We start tidy up at 8.15, so students can get ready to go to their classes at 8.30.

The afternoon session will start straight after school finishes and will continue until 1630.
