Our Location and Campus at BISS Gausel
BISS Gausel is situated in the residential area of Gausel, halfway between the cities of Stavanger and Sandnes. The forested hilltops of Gausel lie to the south and west, and the mountains across Gandsfjord to the east.
We are also minutes away from the business district of Forus with it's many office and facilities for local and international businesses.
BISS Pre-School is also on the same campus.
The campus consists of two buildings - the Lower School and the Upper School.
The Lower School houses the BISS Preschool and the Lower Primary Year groups 1 and 2.
The Upper School building is for Upper Primary Year Groups 3 to 6, all of the Middle Years Department and the Administration offices.
Our sporting facilities are situated beside the main school buildings and include three all-purpose artificial grass sports pitches, a running track, a basketball court and a sand-volleyball pitch.
Our school is surrounded by the forested hilltops of Gausel and is within walking distance of Gandsfjord. Our outdoor education lessons make good use of these wonderful surroundings that are literally on our doorstep.
