Our Campus

Nestled among the stunning fjords and woodlands, our school provides the perfect environment for curiosity, creativity, and exploration to thrive.

BISS Gausel is located in Gausel, a residential area between Stavanger and Sandnes. We're surrounded by Gausel's wooded hills to the south and west, with mountain views across Gandsfjord to the east. We are also minutes away from the business district of Forus with its many offices and facilities for local and international businesses.  BISS Preschool is also on the same campus.

Students can travel to school by train to Gausel Station, then a short, safe, walk to school.  Students can also catch the number 2, 3, 6, 67 and N84 bus

Our campus includes both a Lower and an Upper building. The Lower Building is home to BISS Preschool (separate organisation) and the younger primary students (PYP 1 and 2). The Upper Building houses the older primary students (PYP 3 to 6), the secondary school, and our administrative offices.

Next to the school buildings, we have excellent sports facilities: three artificial grass pitches, a running track, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball court.

With Gausel’s forests and Gandsfjord so close by, our outdoor education classes take full advantage of these fantastic natural surroundings.
