Vision
We aim to be recognised for our outstanding teaching and learning; high levels of performance in external examinations and viewed as a creative, forward thinking organisation, which applies the highest ethical and professional standards and places responsibility, motivation and nurture at the heart of its practice.
We aim:
- To provide each child with a broad and balanced curriculum, as laid down in the International Primary Curricum (IPC) and British National Curriculum documents.
- To provide pupils with opportunities to pursue and develop extra curricular interests.
- To help each child develop initiative, independence and self worth.
- • To encourage each child to understand the meaning of self-discipline and responsible behaviour.
- To offer all children equality of opportunity and to provide a curriculum, which enables all pupils to become members of a society free from all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
- To help each child value cultural diversity and respect religious and moral values.
- To assist each child to develop successful relationships with both adults and children.
- To encourage each child to develop appreciation and responsibility for the immediate and wider environment.
- To establish an environment of co-operation, trust, participation and partnership between all those involved with the education of the child.
- To foster close links with our community, neighbouring schools and organisations, in order to maximise co-operation and the use of resources for delivering all aspects of the curriculum.
